Know the parts of the kidney and its function

Parts of the kidney and its functions it is important to be known by everyone in order to have the awareness to keep kidney organ to stay healthy. As one of the organs that are instrumental in maintaining the health of the body, the kidneys must be absolutely safeguarded so as not to experience the disorder. When kidney function is impaired, the health of the body as a whole will join the disturbed, because the blood circulate throughout the body's tissues is dirty blood, which is mixed with toxins that should be removed from the body.

The damage that occurs in the kidneys of many who cannot be cured such as ready, or difficult to be recovered. Moreover, if the damage has been severe or even kidney failure occurred in which the kidneys are not able to work at all. Therefore it is important to be aware of the symptoms of a troubled kidney so that can be immediately taken care of when the actions occur, because the early symptoms of kidney damage usually is not that can be felt.

The kidneys include organs have functions as the body's excretion or disposal system. Other organs also have a function as excretory system are the liver (liver), lungs, and skin. The location of the kidneys are located on the posterior wall of the abdomen, on the right and left of the spine. On the top there is the adrenaline glands kidneys (stick). The kidneys and glands is wrapped by a layer of fat that is thick enough to give protection.

In general the kidney has a size of approximately 11 cm x 6 cm x 3 cm and weighs between 120-170 grams. The position of the right kidney is generally quite a bit lower than the left because the kidney on the right, the liver takes up the place quite a lot. The number of kidneys in humans is a pair or two, although in essence humans only need one kidney to daily needs.

The main part of the kidney and its function
To recognise the anatomy of the kidneys, we should start by knowing what parts of the kidney and its function is the main first which is differentiated into three, namely the cortex, Medulla, and the left pelvis, you can see it in the picture above the kidney . The main part of the kidney's future still has parts of more specific mention that it is also important to know (discussed on page 2). Here is the main part of the kidney.

Cortex
The first is the outermost part of the cortex, in the kidneys which lie between the renal capsule and the renal Medulla also. The function of the cortex is the site of filtration and ultrafiltrasi. In the cortex there is millions of nefron comprising the body of Malpighi. Every body of Malpighi itself is composed of a glomerulus shrouded by kapsula Bowman and also some channel consisting of proximal kontortus tubule and distal kontortus tubule. Millions of nefron residing on the cortex makes surface capillaries of the kidneys become more widespread, and increasing the ability of the filter waste substances.

The medulla
The main part of the kidney is the medulla or marrow kidney shaped like pyramids. The main part of the medulla is composed of 8-12 left, the pyramid that serves to transmit the rest of kolektivus tubules of the filtration result to the kaliks. In the medulla contained nefron which extends from the cortex. Section nefron existing in the medulla is curved henle and kolektivus tubules.

The Left Pelvis.
The latter left renal pelvis cavity, i.e. the upper the ureter that widened. The pelvis is the shelter of the urine and will further drain the urine towards the bladder or to vesika urinaria through the ureter. And in the bladder, urine is stored for a while before eventually the urine removed from the body through the urethra.

This article is a sequel to page 2 by discussing about the parts in the kidney and their functions as well as how the processes of the formation of urine.

Parts in the kidney and its function
Well, that last is a major part of the kidney, and the following are the parts of the kidneys that more specific discussion of the on again before also already alluded to. These are the parts that perform filtering blood.

Nefron: this section is the section that filters the blood, and as already discussed before last, in the cortex there are millions nefron. Each glomerulus consists of nefron, kapsula bowman, proximal, distal kontortus tubule, kolektivus and also curved the henle kan discussed at subsequent points.
The glomerulus: this section serves as a place of blood filtration that filters water, salts, amino acids, glucose and urea also. After that the glomerulus will produce primary urine will proceed to the next section.
Kapsula Bowman: parts of the kidney and its function is kapsula bowman, a bag or capsule that envelop the glomerulus.
Proximal kontortus tubule: as already discussed above, this section serves to reabsorbsi the primary urine to produce urine secondary.
Henle arch: while this section is the liaison between the proximal kontortus tubule and distal kontortus tubule.
Kontortus distal tubules: after being a secondary urine, substances that are of no use released by the distal tubule kontortus and produce urine.
Kolektivus tubules: while this piece is shaped like a long and narrow tube containing the urine to be channelled into the pelvis heading into bladder before finally removed from the body.
How? Do you already know about the parts of the kidney and its functions? To better understand this please look at the picture above and kidney function. If you already understand, maybe you should also find out about any processes in the kidneys. As for the series of processes that occur in the kidney is a process of filtration, reabsorbsi and augmentation. And the process will produce a series of urine actually we spend each day.

The process of the formation of urine that occurs in parts of the Kidney

Filtration
This filtration process occurs at the glomerulus and bowman's capsule capillaries. There are several factors that could be launched this filtration process, namely, hydraulic pressure and high pemeabilitas also at the glomerulus itself. At the glomerulus also happens to some other process such as the binding back to blood cells, platelets, and also most of the existing plasma proteins in the body. This process will generate the primary urine.

Reabsorbsi
Reabsorbsi process occurs at proximal kontortus tubule that would later produce a secondary urine. This process will occur on the addition of several substances remaining as well as urea in the distal kontortus tubule. Whereas the substances that are still useful at the primary urine through reabsorbsi process will be returned to the blood through capillaries.

Augmentation
The last process is the process of augmentation where urine comes from secondary arch henle would be channeled to the distal kontortus tubule. In part that's a secondary urine will undergo augmentation process, where a secondary urine will be added to some of the substances that the body is not required. This process will result in actual urine will be issued through the ureter. Urine consists of 96% water, 1.5% salt, urea and 2.5, while the rest consists of another substance.

Thus the explanation of parts of the kidney and its functions with a description of the processes of the formation of urine that occurs in the kidneys. May be useful.
